Our Approach
Our Approach to Youth Development

Our approach begins with the recognition that young people have different interests, experiences, needs, and aspirations.
Effective youth development requires opportunities to learn, participate, ask questions, share ideas, and collaborate with others.
We believe that activities should have a clear purpose, understandable participation requirements, and an appropriate connection to the organization's mission.
Learning Through Experience
Practical activities, discussions, collaborative projects, and reflection can complement formal learning.
Respect and Inclusion
Activities should be designed to promote respectful participation and to avoid unnecessary barriers.
Responsible Program Development
New activities should be planned with regard to the organization's objectives, available resources, participant needs, applicable laws, and relevant safeguarding requirements.
